Aerospace - We have undertaken work for a number of aerospace companies such as BAe Systems, Airbus and Rolls Royce. Example projects include: jigless assembly, measurement of cavities, setting up measurement systems for wind tunnel work, calibration of cameras for in-process tasks and camera calibration.

Instrument manufacturers - Projects vary considerably in size and length. In some cases we work with a client during product development for anything up to two years while in other cases a quick problem solving approach is needed.

Transport - We have applied advanced measurement techniques to the railway industry. One project progressed from the initial feasibility to testing the instruments on track.

Process - There are a range of areas where the process industry have found OMC consultancy useful. For instance in the selection of expensive metrology tools for particular tasks such as machine set up and in the ultra-high speed and accuracy measurement of features in the steel industry.

Motor racing - To stay at the forefront of any aspect of motor racing requires advanced software and hardware systems that may not be available commercially. OMC can develop specialist tools and techniques for such areas as video analysis, ride height and car geometry measurement.
